Baseco is about traditional craftsmanship. We have
maintained this approach even as we have taken the lead in implementing
modern technology. Every board is manually inspected. Technology
cannot replace the experienced human eye when judging the appearance
and quality of wood.
Our craftsmen examine the boards as a sculptor would examine his
creation or a visitor to a museum would view the same work of art
with a careful and critical eye.
Millesgården in Stockholm is visited every year by tens of
thousands of scrutinising eyes looking for the exciting, the vision,
the beautiful and the classic. It’s an artist’s home
