BASECO FLOORS |
We use trees that have grown slowly during the long
winters. They have tight growth rings and are harder than wood from
trees that grow further south. Our floors have a high percentage
of core wood, thus enhancing their quality even more. Your choice
of floorboard width is a personal preference, but regardless of
which size you choose, you always receive the same high quality.
Pine
Every board is manually inspected in the factory and is divided
into two categories for floorboards up to 180 mm wide - Standard
(A) and Budget (B).
The standard products have boards with primarily sounds knots mixed
with a small portion of black knots. The budget products have a
combination of healthy and dark knots and there are even some pick-ups
and blemishes in the boards. These are easily repaired with some
wood filler.
Loft floors made from pine are sorted like the spruce floor below
30x230 mm are manufactured from rough timber and are sorted separately.
Spruce
Spruce floors are delivered in mixed sorting and the boards can
have smaller blemishes and resin pockets. The blemishes can easily
be repaired with wood filler. |
