Baseco Golv in Sorsele produces and manufactures
solid wood floors. Having our factory in Sorsele in northern Sweden
offers clear advantages to the company. We are right in the middle
of a belt of exceptional quality pine and fir forests.
The raw materials here in northern Sweden grow slower, have tighter
rings, are harder, and produce more durable surfaces. We only use
trees that have grown at least 100 years for our floors.
In addition, we have inherited several generations of expertise
on how to process the forests and unique craftsmanship for working
with wood.
Floor production began in 1980 and we continually work on new products
to meet both national and international market demands. We have
expanded our range of products with several pre-finished floors,
particularly in new colours. Today you can purchase solid wood floors
in colours ranging from black to white.
