In Sweden we have a long tradition of using wood
as a building material. Naturally, this was because it was the only
material available for a long time. Today, though, despite a much
bigger range of choices, the attitude towards wood as a material
has not changed. Instead we value it even more because it is a genuine
and environmentally friendly material.
Baseco Golv AB is located in Sorsele, Lapland, where the best raw
materials are to be found. We are in the middle of slowly growing
pine forests. When you fit a Baseco floor, you are actually in the
middle of the floor’s lifespan since the trees we have used
for your floor began growing a hundred or maybe two hundred years
ago. You can’t cheat or shortcut nature. It takes that long
if you are to have the genuine product. But then you can walk on
it for just as long again. |
